How to solve this kind of error message?
"an exception has been encountered this may be caused by an extension activitylog xml"
This error coming from cash complicit.
Open Explorer and go to
"C:\Users\[YourName]\AppData\Local\Microsoft\VisualStudio\14.0\ComponentModelCache"
*14.0 is installed visual studio version, you may different.
Delete all files under ComponentModelCache direction.
It's done, Go back to work!
